Springless Trampolines

Springless trampolines = trampolines without springs

The visible difference in a spring-free trampoline is that the rods are made from carbon fiber rods (or similar material) unlike the springs made of steel coils in the traditional versions. There is one more version and it can be found on Vuly Thunder Pro, where springs are made in shape of leaf, but made of steel, and as they are under the mat, it does belong to a type of springless trampoline.

Springless trampolines are generally very safe for children and adults alike – as there is no visible metal parts, no springs, where enclosure and mat are usually only thing you might hit inside the trampoline, without possibility of hitting a frame or springs (and this is where most of the accidents happen). So impacts and nasty falls which might occur in case of losing balance are reduced to minimum.

Springless Vs Spring-based Trampoline

The overall safety of trampolines has increased a lot over the past few decades. This is good news for consumers because it allows for a much safer operating of them. In fact, a couple of decades ago, it would be very rare to see one with a safety net. However, in today’s marketplace, you would be hard-pressed to find one without one included. The market is simply going towards better safety in various ways. In fact, the new trend is trampolines being manufactured without springs.

Springless trampolines come with a price – they are expensive but worth every $, mainly due to a fact that safety of your kids has no price.

Today, there is only handfull of brands manufacturing springless trampolines – Springfree Inc & Vuly Play.
