Telstar ELITE Rectangle Trampoline Review
Telstar is a British brand focusing on providing well-rounded, quality trampolines. They haven’t made much of a name for themselves, but could this model be the breakthrough they need?
Rectangular trampolines used to be reserved for pros and gymnasts only, but the tides have begun to turn. Today, gymnasts, cheerleaders, and other professional athletes could best mold their acrobatic skills by using rectangular trampolines, at least when not having access to full-blown professional trampolines.
Rectangular trampolines combine the great bounce of square trampolines with usability of oval trampolines. They provide among the best bounces of all types and lend themselves well to various tricks, somersaults and flips. As such, we would recommend them to more experienced jumpers.
The bounce is gentler, more free-form and more pleasant. However, rectangle shaped trampolines requires the use of stronger steel structure, which lends itself to higher costs. They are a must if you or your kid plan on doing any kind of professional moves.
They are more expensive than round trampolines; expect to pay upwards of £500 for good rectangle trampoline. There aren’t as many sizes to choose from, mostly ranging from 7×11 to 10×17 ft.
Some are still pro-only and don’t even come with an enclosure (and carry a huge price tag of over £2000), but there are more & more consumer grade rectangulars around.
