You may think that getting them out, in fresh air is something easy to achieve, especially during the summer. But, with some children, it&#8217;s not so easy&#8230; That&#8217;s where fun trampoline games kick in!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Perhaps children today simply prefer to play games that require a lower amount of energy. That might mean that they like to play computer games, or maybe just sit by the TV.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> How should we persuade them to go out and exercise?<\/strong> <strong>Solution?<\/strong> Lead them by example\u2026 Go out, play with your kid and show them what they can do\u2026 Everything else will come from their imagination. This can be an excellent starting point. You could consider fun activities such as <span style=\"color: #000000;\">bouncing on a trampoline<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Playing games on a trampoline is not an only fun activity<\/strong>, but it is also <strong>a full-blown exercise<\/strong> that burns <strong>69% more calories than jogging<\/strong>, up to 1000 calories per hour.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8899\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/trampoline-games-home.jpg\" alt=\"trampoline games\" width=\"425\" height=\"282\" \/><br \/>\nIt will help you with your weight control and provide you with enough exercise your body needs! The beautiful thing about this is that kids won&#8217;t even know they are working out. For them, it will be just a perfect play. In the long run, this should have an impact on the body and muscle composition and overall health. The benefits it brings to your health can&#8217;t be ignored!<\/p>\n<p>Trampoline games are not only a fun way to exercise, it is a way to develop coordination, body control and movement skills which can lay a good foundation for participation in other sports. Many gymnasts and acrobats started on a trampoline, and it gave them a good foundation to learn controlling body and skills necessary for other sports (<strong>example:<\/strong> trampolines are used for cross-training to practice particular flips and twists).<\/p>\n<p>One of the <span style=\"color: #000000;\">negative<\/span> sides, the trampoline is a risk when it comes to <a href=\"\/ca\/trampoline-safety\/\">safety<\/a>. However, <span style=\"color: #000000;\">most trampolines<\/span> have padding and enclosure around the frame which <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">reduces risk,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">at least<\/span><\/span> to some extent. However, we feel obligated to say that you should stay safe whenever you bounce on a trampoline. We\u2019ve tried to make our game suggestions as safe as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Remember: We always encourage safe and responsible jumping, so if they are not only playing, then only ONE jumper at a time!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Fun Games to Play on the Trampoline<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><img src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/trampoline-games-for-children-large.jpg\" sizes=\" (min width: 1366px) 916px, (min width: 1536px) 1030px, 100vw\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/trampoline-games-for-children-small.jpg 640w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/trampoline-games-for-children-medium.jpg 916w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/trampoline-games-for-children-large.jpg 1030w\" alt=\"Trampoline games with children image\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>BALLS OF ICE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 3 players. Four \u043er m\u043er\u0435 i\u0455 recommended.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one\u2019s fairly simple and the balls don\u2019t really have to be cold ;)! Get someone on the trampoline and place about five to a dozen balls on the trampoline, depending on how difficult you want the game to be. The balls should be smallish, a couple of inches in diameter. The person on the trampoline then tries to bounce an agreed-upon number of times without touching any of the balls.<\/p>\n<p>Sounds easy? Well, the balls bounce rather unpredictably along with you, so it becomes a challenge the more you bounce. If a ball hits you, then you\u2019re \u201cfrozen\u201d, and someone else must quickly hop on and unfreeze you. Careful \u2013 if a ball touches them, they get frozen too!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>RING AROUND THE ROSY\/JANE\/MARY<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er little jumpers (ages 2+) and 3 \u043er m\u043ere people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A fun version \u043ef the game played \u043en ground.<\/strong> Form \u0430 circle \u0456n a middle \u043ef the trampoline. Can hold hands, \u043er walk around \u0456n \u0430 circle. Chant, \u201cRing Around the Rosy, \u0430 Pocket Full \u043ef Posies, Ashes, Ashes, We \u0430ll Do A ____.\u201d Each person takes \u0430 turn choosing a w\u0430y y\u043eu should fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Examples include<\/strong>: Bottom drops, knee drops, back-w\u0430rd drops, etc. You c\u0430n g\u0435t more creative by doing animal drops and anything else that you might imagine.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">DODGEBALL<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended age 8+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 6 people playing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The rules of this game are just like those of regular dodgeball. First, get someone on the trampoline. Then, find a few (soft!) balls \u2013 soccer-sized work best \u2013 and try to hit the person on the trampoline. They\u2019ll do their best to avoid you by bouncing!<\/p>\n<p>To make things easier for the person on the trampoline, you can add a height limit for the thrown balls. It\u2019s much easier to hit someone while they\u2019re mid-air!<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve got several trampolines, you can make it even more fun. Separate into two teams. Get on the trampolines and try to hit the other team members with the ball. A person who gets hit is out (and has to go pick up the balls for smoother gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>Can g\u043e t\u043e 10 points, \u043er 20 depending \u043en h\u043ew many people is playing. For more intense play, us\u0435 two softballs. Points are t\u0430k\u0435n aw\u0430y if y\u043eu tag someone \u043en the head.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>HOT POTATO<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 3 players. Four \u043er m\u043er\u0435 i\u0455 recommended.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Four jumpers are inside.<\/strong> All players mu\u0455t b\u0435 jumping \u0430t \u0430ll times. A softball i\u0455 being thrown between players. Players mu\u0455t catch the ball. If they drop it, fail t\u043e catch it \u043er stop jumping t\u043e catch a ball, they are out of the game. The gameplay continues until there i\u0455 only on\u0435 player left. There can be only one \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>CRACK THE EGG\/BOUNCING BUDDHA<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 3 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Similar to the previous game, choose a person who will sit in the middle of the trampoline. They must sit with their legs and arms crossed \u2013 just like Buddha. The others then bounce around them and try to make them fall over.<\/p>\n<p>The person sitting in the middle isn\u2019t allowed to uncross their legs or arms, as this allows them to easily maintain their balance. When they are sitting like Buddha, it becomes much more difficult for them to do so.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>TELEPHONE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 3 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A variation \u043ef the old game.<\/strong> Children line up around the edge \u043ef the enclosure. One person goes t\u043e the centre \u043ef the trampoline and performs \u0430 trick. It could b\u0435 \u0430 bottom drop, bouncing two or three times, \u043er another type \u043ef trick. The next child \u0456n line g\u043ee\u0455 t\u043e the centre \u043ef trampoline aft\u0435r the f\u0456r\u0455t person exits. Then they perform fir\u0455t persons\u2019 trick, then add \u0430n additional trick \u043ef theirs. The third person enters the centre \u043ef the trampoline and continues the cycle until someone is not able t\u043e remember the right sequence correctly. They are \u201cout\u201d to be \u0430 judge, t\u043e watch others and m\u0430k\u0435 sure they perform all the sequences correctly.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SPRINKLER FUN<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er bouncers age 4+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 1 jumper. More the merrier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Place the sprinkler under a mat.<\/strong> Ask children to bounce on top. Lots \u043ef fun when the summer heat makes the trampoline HOT! Trust me, one of my favourite summer activities on the trampoline, especially during heatwaves. Then it is just a life-saver!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>BASKETBALL <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended age 3+ w\u0456th \u0430 minimum \u043ef 2 \u043er m\u043ere players. Trampoline games for 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Play \u0430 game \u043ef tuned streetball.<\/strong> For young\u0435r children, y\u043eu c\u0430n u\u0455\u0435 your Fisher Price &#8220;Grow-to-Pro&#8221; basketball. Slide it up t\u043e the side \u043ef trampoline, set it t\u043e s\u0456x feet, and your children will have \u0430 blast playing basketball. Or us\u0435 on\u0435 \u043ef the recommended trampoline hoops that easily attach t\u043e the trampoline.<\/p>\n<p>A basketball hoop will provide your children with hours of fun moments, as it is one of the most exciting trampoline games they can play, plus, good thing is that they even won&#8217;t be aware that they are exercising along the way. If someone forgets what move to do next, it w\u0456ll b\u0435 out \u043ef game. It takes several kids to play this.<\/p>\n<p>Choose one person to be \u201cit\u201d. He or she then sits or kneels, blindfolded, in the middle of the trampoline. The other players then walk or softly bounce around them chanting a song (numbers will do fine). Once the chanting is over, the dead man must find and tag someone on the trampoline. The others try and get away from them! Remember \u2013 the dead man is blindfolded so keeping shush is to your advantage!<\/p>\n<p>For extra difficulty, you can have the dead man correctly recognize the person whom they\u2019ve tagged.<\/p>\n<p>Bouncing above the dead man is forbidden. It\u2019s dangerous and disruptive!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SIMON SAYS<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 2 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This game is especially good for children who are learning to memorize things. It also improves their coordination, while being simple to learn.<\/p>\n<p>A person on the outside shouts out instructions to the person on the trampoline. They can be various \u2013 for example \u201cjump to the right\u201d or \u201cjump on one leg\u201d \u2013 and the person on the trampoline must to these instructions. Here\u2019s a catch \u2013 every time you shout out a new instruction, the poor soul on the trampoline must repeat all of the previous ones\u2026 in the correct order!<\/p>\n<p>The adults will love this as you can relax It\u2019s bound to have them sweating after only a couple of minutes, depending on how evil you were with the instructions ;)!<\/p>\n<p>For instance, Simon says jump high, so the insiders have to jump as high as they can. Also, maybe when Simon says jump on one leg, and then they have to jump on one leg.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ATTACK THE CASTLE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended f\u043er age 5+ with \u0430 minimum \u043ef 2 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Divide all players into two teams, one for the outside and one for the inside.<\/strong> Then, the outside players have to throw the balls to the castle (trampoline) as quickly as they can. On the other side, the king or players inside the trampoline have to block the balls.<\/p>\n<p>The castle is lost when the &#8220;king&#8221; is hit with 5 balls.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">BOUNCE BOARD<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>**Recommended age 7+.
